BRAZILIAN CONSUMERS ARE AMONG THE 'GREENEST' ONES

For the second year in a row, consumers from India, Brazil, and China are among the ones who were the most concerned about environment-related issues when buying a product or a service, revealed the survey Greendex 2009: Consumer Choice and the Environment – A Worldwide Tracking Survey, carried out by the National Geographic Society and GlobeScan.

The study measured the behavior of 17 thousand consumers from 17 countries in 65 fields related to housing, food, transport and consumer goods.

BE A GREEN CONSUMER

Haciendo una simple búsqueda en nuestro querido SrG sobre el Green Marketing en mi pantalla aparecieron 423.000.000 resultados de green marketing.

Después de un primer enlace patrocinado y la tanto famosa SraWik
i, al tercer lugar se destaca el sitio de la J.Ottaman Consulting, una consultora que se define así:

"We are a marketing and new products firm committed to meeting consumer needs sustainably".


En un post sobre el interés de los consumidores, publicado en el blog de la consultora, me choqué con esta frase:

"Consumers' desire to control a world that's increasingly viewed as spinning out of control lies at the heart of green marketing. If they didn't feel that greener products made a difference, there would be no market for organic produce, non-toxic cleaners, or Energy Star-qualified appliances".

El post sigue con:

Bueno, de mi parte espero que las empresas se enfoquen cada día mas en las estrategia del greenmarketing, pero también es hora que nosotros -los consumidores- seamos cada día mas cocientes del poder que tenemos.
